Ava Valianti is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter from Newbury, Massachusetts, carving out her own lane in indie pop and pop-rock with fearless honesty, sharp self-awareness, and emotionally charged songwriting. With a voice that balances aching vulnerability and indie edge, Ava writes songs that feel lived-in and immediate – equal parts confession, catharsis, and quiet defiance.

Since her 2023 debut with “bubble wrap,” Ava has built international momentum through a steady run of standout singles including “Middle Ground,” “January,” “Laugh Track,” “Distant,” “Buttercups,” and “Clean My Room,” culminating in her debut EP petunias. The project introduced her as a compelling new voice in indie pop, praised for its emotional clarity and coming-of-age storytelling, and earned spins on over 300 radio stations along with nominations and wins from the New England Music Awards, Boston Music Awards, International Acoustic Music Awards, Indie Boulevard Music Awards, and the Unsigned Music Awards. Ava was recently named a Top 3 Finalist for American Songwriter’s Road Ready Talent Contest and will be performing live at the finals in Nashville on March 31^st.

Now entering her next chapter, Ava continues to evolve with “Deep Fuchsia” and her latest single “Sophomore Slump,” the second release from her forthcoming second EP due in May 2026. Leaning further into indie pop-rock influences, these tracks push her sound into bolder, louder territory while staying rooted in the emotional honesty that defines her songwriting. “Sophomore Slump” captures the uneasy in-between space between vulnerability and resilience – caring too much, failing publicly, laughing through discomfort, and continuing forward without all the answers – documenting growth as it happens rather than after it’s resolved.

Ava has opened for artists including Jessica Baio, Lucy Kaplansky, Grammy-nominated Andrew Duhon, and The Strumbellas, while also selling out her own headlining shows.
