Since her 2023 debut with bubble wrap, Ava has built an international audience through standout singles including Middle Ground, January, Laugh Track, Distant, Buttercups, and Clean My Room. Her debut EP, petunias, is a striking coming-of-age collection that transforms vulnerability and resilience into shimmering indie-pop anthems, earning praise for its honesty, craft, and emotional depth.

Ava has received spins on over 300 radio stations and has earned nominations and awards from the New England Music Awards, the Boston Music Awards, Indie Boulevard Music Awards, International Acoustic Music Awards, and the Unsigned Music Awards. Now, with her new single “Deep Fuchsia,” released January 16th, Ava begins her next chapter. The song, an electrified, pop-rock exploration of vivid, obsessive young love, marks the first glimpse of her next project and a bold evolution in her sound. This winter, Ava will embark on a mini-Northeast tour in support of petunias, bringing her raw, radiant storytelling to new audiences.

Unafraid and unmistakably original, Ava Valianti is fast becoming one of the most compelling young voices in indie pop and “Deep Fuchsia” signals an exhilarating new era.

A Project of Self-Discovery and Emotional Honesty

For Ava, music isn’t just an art form—it’s her anchor. At 15, amid the ups and downs of high school life, friendships, and first loves, music remains the one constant that makes sense to her, a force that keeps her grounded. Many artists might see their music as a distinct “project,” separate from who they are, but for Ava, that divide doesn’t exist. Her songs are a direct reflection of her soul, unfiltered and honest. With each lyric and melody, she finds a way to make sense of life’s bittersweet moments: the loss of childhood innocence, the ache of unrequited love, the painful growth that comes with change, and the power to let go of those who don’t value you.

Through her original songs, Ava reveals herself, inviting listeners to join her on a journey through her raw emotions and perspectives. Her music is more than a passion—it’s a lifeline, a space where she can find clarity and genuine happiness amid life’s complexities. Ava’s art is inseparable from her identity, and she embraces that. This commitment to being real in her work is what makes her music resonate so deeply, capturing moments that are as personal as they are universal.

"I love to make music, and if other people enjoy it or connect to it, then the job’s been done well and that excites me."
